The Rawai Municipality have seen the work of SOS Phuket who has dedicated both physical and mental strength in delivering surplus food to the community in Rawai sub-distric for more than 3 years without stopping and never discriminated against who the food pickers were, where they came from. The work that clearly had the goal of getting food pickers to bring non-plastic bags to reduce the use of plastic bags. This is another approach that is good for the environment.

SOS is grateful to the municipality and all stakeholders, including the Phuket Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, volunteers, and municipal officials that has always made our work smooth. We will continue to do our part in salvaging surplus food for vulnerable groups.
