Dinner at the Residence of the Swiss Ambassador joined by the Bangkok Governor

Khun Ploy, Outreach Manager was the representative of the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation to have dinner with the Swiss ambassador, HE Helene Budliger Artieda, and meet the Bangkok Governor, Chadchart Sittipunt, and the Deputy Bangkok Governor, Tavida Kamolvej. The event's goal was to show how the embassy engages with and supports various organizations working in the field of sustainability in order to better Bangkok and the country as a whole.

Thank you so much to the Embassy of Switzerland in Thailand for supporting the SOS Rescue Kitchen program last year, which included huge donations of rice to support communities during the serious coronavirus outbreak. We were thrilled that the embassy saw the importance of our work and endorsed us to showcase our food rescue efforts with the Bangkok Governor and his team.

We are now working on the National Food Bank initiative in Thailand with various stakeholders from the public and private sectors. The great news is that it's aligned with the current Bangkok policy, so we look forward to collaborating with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to make a larger impact soon.
