Phuket Social Development Office and SOSPhuket Deliver Water, and Surplus Food to Aid Flood and Mudslide Victims in Kata-Karon

From August 22 to 23, 2024, Phuket Province faced relentless heavy rain, leading to severe flooding of homes, roads, and mudslides. This disaster affected approximately 250 households.

In response, on August 23 and 24, the company stepped in to provide aid. Scholars of Sustenance (Phuket) donated over 1,100 kg of surplus food, equivalent to 4,600 meals, along with other cooking ingredients to support those in need. Over these two days, our efforts reached more than 750 volunteers, rescue workers, and affected individuals.
