SOS Chiang Mai brought fresh fruits and vegetables to Chiang Mai Elderly Day 2022 event

SOS Chiang Mai Branch was delighted to be a part of the Chiang Mai Elderly Day 2022 event organized by the Chiang Mai Office of Social Development and Human Security which aimed to encourage all sectors to realize the value and see the importance of the elderly people on April 11th. There were many elderly people in Chiang Mai and representatives of relevant agencies attended this warm event.

There were various fun and meaningful activities happened on the day, including performances by the elderly, product displays from the elderly, the Buddha bathing, and the ceremony of pouring water on the hands of the elderly representatives, also fundraising to provide assistance to the elderly who have been suffering social problems in Chiang Mai as well.

On this special occasion, SOS Chiang Mai Branch together with the Chiang Mai Royal Project distributed fresh vegetables and fruits to the elderly attending the event over 800 kilograms, as we also want to support the elderly well-being and health with good food.

SOS Foundation would like to thank the Chiang Mai Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, the Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai, and the representative of the President of Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization for paying attention to SOS works and the opportunity for SOS Chiang Mai to participate in this important traditional event.
