Samor Prong story from our Food Rescue Ambassadors in Hua Hin

Samor Prong community is one of our regular recipients in Hua Hin.
This time, our Food Rescue staff interviewed an individual who is a resident of this village about the livelihood and living conditions of the people during this rather peculiar period.
The team has learned that most families in the area struggle to make ends meet, some even have to live off less than 100 baht a day.

From our food partners in Hua Hin, Food Rescue Ambassadors have gathered a total of 107.74 kilograms of food for this operation. Amongst all donated food we have obtained, this time we have some of the children’s favorites like an assortment of donuts, many kinds of bread and pastries as well as milk!

The operation concluded with 452 meals served. However, it is not the number or the number of food donations and meals served that fulfills us, it is the fact that SOS Thailand was able to help the community in some way.
