SOS Phuket Joining Hands with Asia Center Foundation

Asia Center Foundation (ACF) is one of SOS’s partners for delivering food to the people who are suffering, regardless of their nationality, gender, religion, and skin color. SOS collaborated with ACF by donating 275kg of food from CPF, Tops, Mister Donut, Family Mart, and S&P to the migrant worker camp.

Most villagers are mainly low-income migrant workers who work hard under the sun as construction workers and have difficulty taking care of their families. There were 145 people in 55 construction worker camps who received a total of 1,155 meals from us. This could help them with a massive reduction of their living expenses and be able to feed their family with nutritious food.

SOS understands that it is difficult for everyone, especially the low-income migrant workers who are working far away from their country and the economic pressure they receive during this pandemic, but it is a part of SOS’s mission and responsibility to help the people in need no matter who they are and no matter where they come from. SOS Thailand is the first Food Rescue Organization, which gives us the biggest role in society to help everyone.
