Starbucks Thailand grants 1.2 million baht to SOS to fund community support initiatives

The Rescue Kitchen Program at Khlong Lat Phachi Community is a joint effort between SOS Bangkok and Starbucks Thailand. This program is aimed at helping communities in need, including the Khlong Lat Phachi Community, Wat Chan Community, Khlong Ta Paen Community, Chan Ruam Jai Community, Petchkasem 52 Community, and Rasritham Community. Starbucks has granted 1.2 million baht to SOS Bangkok to fund various community support initiatives, including this Rescue Kitchen Program.

.

The people in these communities who are struggling are those whose expenses exceed their income. Due to the high cost of living, such as water and electricity bills, many individuals earn a living by working in trades, which leads to higher costs as well. The Rescue Kitchen Program will provide 750 meals to help these communities, and Starbucks Thailand has even sent employees to assist with cooking and delivering the delicious meals. We are grateful to Starbucks Thailand for their generous support of this program.
