This year also signifies over eight years of ongoing collaboration between the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation Thailand (SOS Thailand) and THAIFEX - Anuga Asia, founded on a mutual dedication to sustainability and food equity.

During the five-day event, SOS Thailand teamed up with more than 100 exhibitor booths, rescuing over 4,000 kilograms of surplus food that would have otherwise been wasted. This rescued food was distributed to over 20 vulnerable communities throughout Bangkok and neighboring provinces, providing more than 16,800 meals.

Besides receiving generous food donations, we were privileged to join the ThaiChamber in visiting booths hosted by their member companies.

We were also honored to contribute to the Future Food Experience+ forum on May 27–28, 2025.

🔹 On Day 1, Tanaporn Oi-isaranukul, our Director of Thailand Operations and Communications, participated in the food banks discussion moderated by The Global FoodBanking Network, focusing on surplus food and loss management within the food industry. She provided valuable insights on how SOS Thailand delivers sustainable solutions to reduce food waste and create lasting community impact nationwide.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Nestlé Thailand, one of our long-standing partners, for emphasizing our shared commitment to reducing food waste. Your ongoing support exemplifies the strength of cross-sector collaboration in building a more sustainable future.

Special thanks to DKSH for your dedication to supporting and partnering with local food banks.

🔹 On Day 2, Tawee Impoolsup, our Country Manager for Thailand, presented our broader mission as Thailand’s pioneering food bank and highlighted our collaboration with National Science and Technology Development Agency : NSTDA in establishing the National Food Bank — a milestone initiative to ensure more equitable food distribution nationwide.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, exhibitors from around the world, and everyone who shares in our mission. Together, we’re not only preventing food waste — we’re building a more resilient, sustainable, and compassionate food system for all.

From surplus to sustenance — this is the power of collaboration. 💚
