Our team at Phuket has started distributing survival bags to flood victims at Wang Subdistrict, Thung Song District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province earlier this week.

We have started distributing 100 sets at the train station as the first stop. When the first distribution was finished, we visited the community and distributed 40 more bags with the village health volunteers (VHV) to the patient in bed and people with disabilities who cannot come and receive their own. At the last point, we went to Baan Rai Nuea and gave 110 more survival bags. In total, we distributed 250 bags already.

During this visit, we found that there are still villagers who, although the flood situation has recovered, still unable to return to live in the house. Due to the severe damage to the house, Thai SOS team will continue to help people at our best. And we will ask for cooperation from many sectors to join in making the situation better soon as well.
