Every year we generate 2.01 billion tons of municipal solid waste, with at least 33% of waste not being managed in an environmentally safe method. It is estimated that by 2050 the amount of waste on the planet will be tripled. Over 23% of that volume comes from the East Asia and Pacific region.
We did submit our projects to "Shaper in Action", a continuation project by the organizers of the Thailand Sustainability Expo. This year's theme is "Food Waste Management" and we are one of the shortlisted teams to continue the competition!
